End of Season Review...

This summer has seen the club enjoy unprecedented success on the field - as well as some outstanding performances from our younger, "non-competitive" teams at tournaments, our older teams have won nine different pieces of silverware since the beginning of May. Our congratulations go to those teams who enjoyed the successes listed below, and we wish all of our teams well for the forthcoming season...

A great way to cap an excellent season, in which all of our league sides finished in the top four of their respective divisions.

The club continues to build in the right way, from "the bottom up", with our latest group of Under-6s ready to start playing their first matches in September. With a pool of 19 players, and with a number of parents already offering to get involved with coaching, we'll be able to split this squad of players into two separate teams during their forthcoming U-7 season. As ever, we are grateful to those parents who have offered to give up their time in order to assist; after all, without such people, our teams couldn't continue.

Looking ahead to next season, our continuing steady growth as a club means that we have had to look for some extra pitches. Some of our teams will continue to play at our existing homes, Loughton School and Bradwell Village School, and some will be playing at new venues. We're delighted to have secured new home pitches at Broughton Fields School, Loughton Sports & Social Club and the Kiln Farm Club. Home venues for each team are shown on their respective team pages.

Finally, we will be looking to develop the social side of our club this season, starting with a fund-raising "Fun Day" in September (date and venue to be confirmed.) Keep an eye on the website for details of this, and other future events.

The club continues to go from strength to strength, thanks largely to the volunteers who give up their time to help coach the teams and run the club, and also to the parents and players who continue to support the club so positively. We hope that all players, parents and coaches enjoy their summer break, and I'm sure we're all looking forward to returning to training in late August.
