PRESENTATION DAY AT THE MARLE INN, GREAT LINFORD

SUNDAY 16TH MAY 2010

Please note the presentation times for each squad, shown below. The day has been arranged so that parents and players need only attend for an hour or two, as we are presenting the teams with their awards two/three squads at a time. That said, you are more than welcome to arrive early, or to stay behind for a few drinks after your presentation slot if you so wish.

However......!!!

...for obvious health and safety reasons, there is a restriction on the number of people who can be inside the venue at any one time. Therefore, for each presentation session, the squads listed for that time slot (and their parents, grandparents etc) take priority. During presentation times, anyone not linked to those specific slots will still be able to access the bar for food and drinks, but will be asked to take their drinks outside.

This means that we are banking on the weather being kind to us. The Marle Inn, with its lake, patio and lawn, is a beautiful venue when the sun shines and I'm sure most people will be happy to take their drinks outside if it's a nice day. The forecast is looking good right now, but I must stress that if the weather turns bad, there will not be enough room in the pub to house everyone. So please keep an eye on the weather forecast and take this into account if you are planning on arriving early or staying for a little longer after your presentation slot. I will ask the people at the Marle Inn if they will allow parents to erect gazebos on the lawn if they so wish, and I'll confirm ASAP.

PRESENTATION TIMES:

1pm: U6s, U7 Blues and U7 Yellows

3pm: U8s and U9 Yellows

4.30pm: U9 Blues and U11 Blues

6pm: U11 Yellows and U11 Reds

We look forward to seeing all the players, and their proud parents and relatives, on Sunday. Speak to your squad coach if you have any questions relating to the day.
